Quarter Moon Farm has been shipping horses worldwide for many years from our other locations and now we are permanently relocated to East Texas, only 70 miles from Dallas and 4.5 hours from the Houston International Airport where your equine will board the plane. Our prices are very competitive and our goal is your animals healthy, swift arrival to your farm and your complete satisfaction. All horses travel in fully matted, roomy box stalls in our Featherlite trailer. With a total of 12 box stalls and plenty of cargo room, we can also ship your equine supplies and accessories. Our transport equipment is regularly inspected and maintained for safety and comfort. Transportation is available to pick up your purchase for quarantine or we can help arrange transport using other reputable haulers we regularly work with.

If you are looking for that special horse or mini donkey to import, we can provide referrals to numerous clients and trainers we have worked with to provide many clients the horse of their dreams. We also have our own stock available for purchase and export.

We can shop for you as well. QM~IQ has been retained by many overseas clients over the years to find their specific dream horse.

Our Quarantine facility includes individual stalls, an individual feeding program including FASTTRACK probiotics, pysllium, fertilized coastal bermuda hay, alfalfa, beet pulp, multivitamins and we have access to numerous varieties of grain products to make your horse as happy and healthy as possible for it's stay on our farm. We provide deworming products as well.

If needed we can add an exercise regime and work on training needs for show horses so they arrive in peak condition, ready to WIN in the ring! We will provide sweats and sweating agents as necessary, clipping, bathing etc. at a nominal cost.

Our farrier is certified in all aspects of hoof care and practices ongoing education. Brian Lindstrom is also a California certified vet tech who is happy to discuss any issues your horse might have. Carl Mitz, our Equine Dentist is available as his schedule permits to offer complete care for your valuable purchase. Our veterinarian, Dr. Wingo is an equine repro specialist as well as an avid fan of miniature horses. We are able to offer a complete breeding and foaling out experience should you need that service, with vet care just minutes away. Dr. Wingo and his staff are dedicated to your horse's healthy arrival. If it is necessary to crate your horse, Jim Murphy will custom produce a sturdy, portable home for your valuable new edition. Jim has been in construction for many years and is a master woodcrafter. All horses shipping from QM~IQ wear a new betahane or leather halter and lead with an engraved name tag provided by www.TackForMinis.com.

We choose to work with only the most reputable and hygienic overseas farms and facilities, and we care as much where your horse will arrive and be safe, as you do.

If your horse is arriving in Amsterdam we can offer Monique's services for your convenience. Monique Kompier lives in Zwaagdijk-Oost, about 40 minutes drive from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport. Zwaagdijk is located quite central in order to transport and pick up horses from just about anywhere in the Netherlands. Her stables are located in a rustic village with lots of pastures for the horses, each having access to their own paddock and pasture. On request, the horses can be walked in a training treadmill.
